Acoustic / Indie / Folk Rock In 2008 I self-released a full-length album called "Cocoon Stew", opened for nationally renowned recording artists, Amos Lee and Matthew Good, completed two U.S. tours, and managed to only have one rather prevalent emotional breakdown. In 2009, I received the award for “Outstanding Acoustic/Folk Songwriter” in the 18th annual Detroit Music Awards. Currently in 2010 I am working on a new album that will hopefully be out by summer.

One is Levi-stick Dancing... where I dance with an iridescent stick that seems like it is moving and floating of it's own accord. It is a more modern take on the magician's floating cane trick.

The other is spinning poi... which makes use of a pair of balls suspended from a length of cord, or a pair of flags. These are spun in various circular patterns. Originally it was a performing art of the M?ori people. Poi spinning has developed from these roots into a art of his own... employing things from fire to glowing balls to flags.
